CONSTANTINATO Earrings – Gold pl. Silver & Garnet

These unique earrings are created from an original heirloom byzantine coin, which belongs to Danai’s family and is dated in 1143-1180 A.C., according to the evaluation of an official archeologist-numismatologist. The coin holds the power of an amulet according to Greek folk tradition and one earring presents the one side of the coin, with the bust of Jesus Christ and the other earring presents the second side of the coin, with Emperor Manuel 1st Comnenus. The elegant addition of the deep red natural stones, is “a touch of today” on this historical piece, that emanates sophisticatιon and grace.
