“Helios & Chromata”: an iconic Collection from Greece with love!

I designed Chromata bangle in 2012. I hadn’t thought of its name before it was finished, but I knew I wanted it to be a “happy” piece of jewelry, full of colors. And that’s exactly what it is. Even the sound they make when you wear two or more together brings a joyful rythem in mind. The name “Chromata” which is the Greek word for “colors” expresses the simplicity and at the same time, the richness of this design.

Helios designs – from the Greek word for “sun” – were created next. The main round shaped part, represents the notions of totality, wholeness and eternity and can perfectly stand alone or combined with Chromata.

The whole Collection is a celebration of colors and light, the two main elements of the Greek nature’s scenery. I grew up surrounded by this beauty and expressing this in my work, feels like a natural connection.
