Jewelry as a form of “healing”

«We lead stressful lives in a toxic environment – a stressful job, bills to worry about, a house to take care of… I am a working mother of two and my daily routine doesn’t t include self-caring.

Sometimes, we get the feeling that we need to adjust, in our everyday life, some new habits that help us calm and fill us even for a little while, or even a few moments, with positive feelings. For many people this habit could be to take a walk in nature, a nap, or a bath, playing sports, having fun with the kids, reading.

For me it’s all the above, but it is also my connection to jewelry and everything that it represents. It is something I grew apart in the past few years but I am happy to have found it again.

It is very difficult to put into words what kind of a stress reliever jewelry is for me. This is why, when I decide to buy a piece of jewelry I am overwhelmed with joy and happiness. Especially when this piece of jewelry entails harmony, simplicity, authenticity, creativity and craftsmanship.

About a month ago I lost a ring my mother had given me, a piece that I wouldn’t take out of my hand. In my despair and despite my tight finances, I chose to replace it. I still remember the joy from placing the order:). This joy grew even bigger when I put it in my hand. I felt rejuvenated. I have caught myself numerous times in the day peaking in my left hand to take another glimpse.

It is these small gifts that can do so much to boost your morale.
